Late nite blogging, our genesis.

I'm up late having just put my son to bed and I had some time so I decided to get back here and send out a little more info about our family and plans etc. This blogsite is really kind of my idea to be a living newsletter of sorts. Ginger would rather e-mail. I seem to do better with little bits at a time, like a journal.
Well, I'm thirty years old, the husband of a wonderful woman, and the father of two very spirited (and fun) young kids. Ginger and I were married in May of '98 and started our family a year later. We always purposed and dreamed of being used by God in some huge, adventurous way. Such as leading a youth group at church, leading worship, being missionaries in a foreign land and being part of a community that really lives what the body of Jesus Christ should be. That's what we're into. This is our life, our goal. In His own time, God will use all of this to further His kingdom with our lives. He's work that in us even as we speak.
I envision this journal as being a chronicle of the nuts and bolts of what God is doing with us and in us. We want to share it with you our friends, family, and blogbrowsers. Read these things and pray for us. I hope that we are somehow an encouragement to you. Please blog me things to pray for you about also, we will pray.
As a prayer request, I want to ask that you would all keep our friends Steve and Katrina and their new baby Caleb in your prayers. Caleb was born with some complications and seems to be doing progressively better. Pray for his complete health (and for the sanity and strength of his mommy and daddy too)!
Love to all, more later.

Comments:
Hey Buddy,

I think the blog is a great idea. Hopefully we can stay in touch better. Thanks for the prayer for Caleb and ourselves. It is very encouraging!

Love you guys,
Steve, Katrina, and Caleb

ps How about some pictures! :)

Hey buddy,

Just a tip for you. You might want to change your comments setting. Right now it is impossible to leave a comment unless they are a registered blogger. I changed mine so that anyone can comment.

To change:
Go into your editor
Click the settings tab
Click on comments
Under "who can comment" select anyone.
that will allow easier comment posting

Hope this helps.

Love you guys

Steve
